Complete church follow-up, right from your texts.

SaltLight is the follow-up companion that makes it impossible for anyone to fall through the cracks. It captures every connect card, enters the information into your church database, assigns each person to the right leader, and guides the conversation from first contact to genuine connection.

A new kind of software

You have never used software like this. And you already know how to use it.

We did not build an app. We stepped into the place your church already lives: your text messages. No new system to learn, no new screen you have to remember to check.

SaltLight is a follow-up teammate that lives in your texts.

A guest fills out a card, and SaltLight reaches out for you, in your voice, with your okay. It keeps the conversation going, reminds you when the week gets away from you, and makes sure that guest is actually connected. You run all of it by texting it, the way you would text a capable assistant who never drops the ball.

SL SaltLight Hi Maria, so glad you joined us Sunday. Can I save you a seat for the newcomers coffee this week? Read 11:42 AM

You care about every name.
You just can't hold them all.

A family visits on Sunday. You shake their hand, you mean it, and you fully intend to reach out before the week is out. Then the week does what the week does, and by the time you surface, you honestly can't say whether anyone ever did. They felt the silence. You never saw the gap.

That gap has nothing to do with how much you care. No one person can carry every name in their head and stay present to the people in front of them too. Being remembered shouldn't come down to who happened to write the right thing on a card, or whether Monday went easy on you.

We built SaltLight for exactly that gap. Not to replace the shepherd, but so the names you mean to hold are held anyway, and no one quietly slips out a side door while you were busy loving someone else.

Keep what works

Built on top of what you already use.

No migrations. No rebuilding. No headaches.

SaltLight can serve as your complete follow-up system, or connect directly to the database, website, forms, and workflows you already use.

Every conversation, response, handoff, and next step is automatically synced back to your records. No logging in later. No manual data entry. No wondering whether someone updated the database.

Keep what works. Let SaltLight make it work better. SaltLight doesn't have to replace your ministry systems. But it will make them actually work.

It is not only your guests who are busy. You are too. So we meet everyone where they already are.

A call

From a number they don't know.

Buried, unread.
A text

The one they actually read.

Opened in minutes. 98% of texts get opened. Nearly half are read within three minutes.

The old way makes you do all the legwork.

The old way With SaltLight
Your church software makes you do everything: enter the guest, remember to reach out, chase the follow-up by hand.
SaltLight does the legwork. The guest is captured and brought right to you, on the timing you set.
A connect card only matters if someone remembers to act on it, and someone usually does not.
Every card is captured the moment it arrives, whether you snap a paper one or it syncs in from your church database.
The follow-up lives in your head, or a tired volunteer's, until the week buries it.
A safety net carries it, not a person's memory: a reminder, then a second reminder, then a fallback partner, then overflow.
No one can tell you who has actually been followed up with.
Ask anytime, right in your texts. Who still needs follow-up?

All of it runs from the text messages your leaders and volunteers already use.

Reach a guest within 36 hours and 85% come back. Wait a week and it drops to 15%.

Minister more. Administer less.

Soon you'll run your whole church, not just follow-up, right from a text. That is where this is headed.

You should never have to wonder.

You remember her. New a few weeks ago, sat near the back, filled out a card. You meant to reach out. You think someone did. But you do not actually know, and some nights that sits with you. The cards you never got to. The faces you have not seen since. A church should be the one place where no one is a stranger twice, and where no one slips out a side door unmissed.

With SaltLight, the wondering ends. Weeks from now you can text and ask, "Did we ever follow up with her? What did we say?" and get a real answer in seconds. Every guest has a thread. Every thread has a story. None of it lives only in your memory anymore.

A church community gathered together in worship and prayer

Built to be trusted with your people.

Your texts stay yours

Only where it is invited.

SaltLight is not reading your text messages. It lives only in the threads it creates for you. When SaltLight opens a conversation with a guest, it is right there guiding you. Every other text on your phone stays yours.

Numbers stay private

No one trades phone numbers.

Your guests never see a leader's personal number, and your leaders never see a guest's. Every conversation runs through a private church number, so people get cared for without giving away anything personal.

Bank-grade by design

Secured the way a bank is.

Your people's information is guarded the way a bank guards yours. Our security lead does this for a living at a multi-billion-dollar financial institution. Everything is encrypted by default, and we register every church number so your texts are carrier-approved (A2P 10DLC, TCPA). Your data stays yours. We never sell it and never feed it to outside AI.

A human always says yes

Nothing sends without you.

SaltLight drafts. You approve. No message reaches a guest until a real leader says go. The care is automated. The yes never is. This is the Vow.

We come from ministry. Between us we have decades in the local church, and we've sat in your chair, lost the connect card, and felt the Monday whirlwind. So we built the teammate we always wished we had.

FAQ

Will this replace my church management system (ChMS)?

No. SaltLight works alongside it. It reads guests in and writes them back, two way, with Planning Center and Rock today and more coming. Your database stays your database. SaltLight handles the follow-up it was never built to do.

Do my leaders need to download an app or learn new software?

No. There is no app and no login for day to day use. Your leaders follow up the way they already text. The one-time setup happens in a simple web portal.

What if my leaders don't reply or forget?

That is the whole point. SaltLight reminds them, reminds them again when a guest goes quiet, and if a leader goes silent it hands off to a fallback partner you choose. Four layers of backup before anyone slips through.

Is this just another mass texting tool?

No. SaltLight is not a blast. It runs one real, personal conversation with each guest, drafted in your voice and approved by a human, and it carries that relationship from the first hello to connected.

How does SaltLight know what to say?

You teach it your tone once, and it drafts each first message in your voice from what the guest shared. You approve before anything sends, so it always sounds like you.

What if people still prefer paper connect cards?

Perfect. Snap a photo of the paper card and SaltLight reads it, pulls the name and number, and creates the guest. Paper or digital, it all lands in the same place.

How much time will this take for me or my leaders?

Less than you spend now. Setup is once. After that, following up is reading a draft and tapping send. SaltLight does the entry, the tracking, and the remembering.

Is this safe and personal?

Yes. SaltLight is only in the threads it creates, never your other texts. Your guests never see a leader's number, and your leaders never see a guest's. Encrypted by default, carrier compliant, and nothing sends without a human's yes.

Can I add all my leaders and volunteers?

Yes. Every plan includes unlimited leaders, never per seat. Add your whole team, paid staff and volunteers alike. You only pay for the messages you send, not the people who send them.

No one has to slip through the cracks again.
